already initiated Humble Indie Bundle is commendable: to associate purchases of video games without DRM with charitable donations and financial support independent developers, it's really great! So this is the second edition (the first had raised a total of 1.27 million dollars!): 5 games associated with them.

Braid ( site), an excellent platform games, short but to the original universe let alone temporal puzzles very well exploited. Not to mention the scenario more subtle than it looks ...
Machinarium strictly a point & click adorable, not too difficult. But hey, I've said all the good that I thought at the time.
Osmos ( site). Okay, I admit it must be in the Zen state of mind to play the music pretty new-age helping: the pace is not hectic but the challenge is here!

I do not know the last two: Cortex Command
( site), is a curious mix of action and strategy. not quite my cup of tea ...
Revenge of the Titans ( site), a tower-defense that has the particular graphic style Poppygames.

Regular readers of the magazine (and forum) already know what it is returning, but it is never too late to make a brief assessment: RPG magazine for which I was the model, and it slipped sometimes a few drawings in the middle of the awesome test of Khayrhalt, Skywilly, Mwarf, Youf, 6klop, Noche, etc.. stopped Last spring, for various reasons (yes, the newspaper industry is in crisis, yes it is a competitive industry, etc..). And satisfaction that this business was appreciated (and valued) by others, readers ...

But I take this paper to discuss the next project Khayrhalt (fans of these tests video games and a sharp humor pluto delusional, have not been weaned too long): it is a magazine from Paris led by a well-reasoned, to be called ICARE and deal with ... video games with exclusive content! Angles and treatment quite different from anything you can find in France about this, for I see little. But promised, I will talk more in depth at its exit at mid-December !

I spoke of Cthulhu an episode in the old series Ghostbusters 2 years ago, the South Park trilogy in 3 weeks ago, we now count as an episode of Scooby-doo appointed The shrieking Madness ...!

That said, if there is ever one day an episode of SpongeBob (or Dora the Explorer) causing the Myth, I would not be the first to complain:)

My most recent experience of a parlor game of last month Lovecraft at dijon / / SAITEN: I've played Salem: the shadow of Cthulhu a recent board games which is a kind of substitute known Arkham Horror not without interest: it's shorter to play, beautifully illustrated, and generally more accessible to neophytes. This part of SLOC was pleasant enough, and I have good memories even if we all fell face Shub-Niggurath ... I noticed that the mechanisms of the two games are similar: cooperative play, close gates, monsters gradually populating the board, "NPC" Great Old Ones to be discovered, etc.. But all this is much more thorough in ADT, as confirmed by the community was built around this game and created many extensions through unofficial forum and wiki .
So in the end even though I'm not a big fan of games with complex rules, I would suggest that ADT SLOC more ...

Finally, a board game due out in 2011: The Doom That Came To Atlantic City, a kind of Monopoly sauce Lovecraft. No picture available on the web so far, just some info : we destroyed houses (instead of building), there opens portals and sects and powers are accumulated fabulous. Why not? Delirium way Munchkin Cthulhu but more developed, has every chance to succeed!

More seriously: this is just an adaptation of the famous Lovecraftian game, with beautiful illustrations (the 6 above), nothing more (the rules are similar), only distributed by British shops. I fell by chance while surfing on it but I do not think it's essential for fans of monsters poulpiques or games ...

These blankets parodies in addition to being great, is credible in the sense that they could be published in Heavy Metal 1980's, at the time of renewal the clear line (Ted Benedict, Barge, Serge Clerc ...).

Lovecraft and Barlow Andreas? The first is a famous writer, the second is a cartoonist famous, and the third ... unknown intruders? Not quite ... In fact I discovered its existence in Posthumous revelations a strange cartoon River (Rivière-Floc'h duo) where the young talented Andreas began his career (1980) by between boards great "scratch card" and "burning Berni Wrighston way." The short story tells of 8 pages friendship between two men, and sociability unexpectedly in the writer. Few indeed fantastic, and the story had quite disappointed when I discovered this album a few years ago. It was when I read the article by Jan Baeten, A fantastic silent: HP Lovecraft and RH Barlow (Image & Narrative No. 2, 2001), that I could "go" in and better understanding what it was about ...

biography of RH Barlow, imaginary friend of HP Lovecraft, which is the first book of Revelations posthumous Andrés River and is an exmple of fantasy that is spared, from antifantastique that subverts the representation of reality while denying to do so by using the narrative possibilities unique to comics. That's the problem: I have this character professor quasi-finite type since 2 years in my archives, and I despair to finish one day! Let me explain: Initially I had gone on a sort of duet "mad scientist / Creature of Frankenstein" with a childlike look, but I have since abandoned the idea because I can not make it look "cute" on Creature ... I gave him the name of Prof. Chewy and Dr. Moustache for lack of better ... In short, I "dry"!

A little help is never too much sometimes to trigger inspiration, so if you, reader of this blog, you have good ideas to baptize and to give him a companion fantastic original, it would be pretty cool ! I expect the proposals in the comments ;)
